# Open Call for Artists: Map&Fold Festival 2024
We are thrilled to announce the Open Call for the upcoming Map&Fold Festival, taking place from November 23-24, 2024, at the Schlachthaus Tübingen, Germany.
Map&Fold Festival is a celebration of experimental music, visual arts, and interdisciplinary creativity. We invite artists, musicians, performers, and creative technologists to submit their proposals for projects that explore the boundaries of sound and visual art. Whether it’s an immersive audiovisual performance, an interactive installation, or an experimental live set, we want to hear from you!
Submission Guidelines:
- Who can apply? We welcome submissions from artists specializing in audio, video, and dance, particularly those who push the boundaries of experimental and innovative work.
- What are we looking for? Proposals for performances, installations, or workshops that engage with the themes of sound, space, and visual art.
- When and where? The festival will be held from November 23-24, 2024, at Schlachthaus Tübingen, Germany.

We will provide a club sound system as well as a professional projector. The venue has a capacity of approximately 300 people. We strive to cover any incurred expenses and provide a fee, as well as cover travel costs and accommodation, though please note that our total budget is still to be determined. Selected artists will showcase their work at one of Germany’s most dynamic festivals for experimental art and music. We encourage proposals from both emerging and established artists.
